In another time of forgotten space.....
Gotta laugh at JPG and his critiquing of a show that he probably wasn't even protoplasm in his old man's balls for.
Just like the many reviewers of the GD compendium, who base their commentary on listening to a tape, well, it's fucking laughable. Just like sorry old ass (no, make that New ASS) that jpg is.
Sure, I've been to unbelievably great GD shows, that in the pantheon of my memory are better (JC 72 Nassau, Buffalo, Rochester, Springfield 73, RFK 73, Jerry's 30th birthday, Roosevelt 74' Capitol 76........... the only terrible shows I ever been to have been ones where I was surrounded by assholes, like Highgate 95' and which it's probably even money that jpg was one of those tearing down the fence, or worse yet, cheering them on.

Not a very good show,
in my opinion. Good Viola, but they killed it before the peak. There are way better shows from this year.

The GRATEFUL DEAD "Live In Concert" October 31, 1970 at the University Gymnasium, SUNY Stony Brook, Stony Brook, New York, U.S.A.
Five stars for the mix, recording, performance, transfer and dance-ability.
Classic 1970 sound.
Halloween with the GRATEFUL DEAD. I think everyone came to this show wearing a Halloween costume.
I highly recommend adding this show to your 1970 GRATEFUL DEAD collection.
This is a "Must Have show".
